The Awakening

E Oho The Awakening is a short 2d platformer game for mobile built at Metia Interactive in collaboration an indigenous Māori storyteller to tell a traditional story through the video games medium.

Michael was responsible for the large majority of games development creating and implementing the game’s design, user interface and level design mostly by himself with some assistance on art elements and complicated coding issues. The game was developed using the Corgi platformer package in the Unity game engine.
